Pink Wood Guitar

Help why is my black strat pink underneath the paint?

My black mim strat had a chip of paint come off of it and under it is like a pink sparkle instead of wood? whats the deal with this. everywhere else on the guitar where paint has come of ( only on the back) theres been wood, but on the side its weird a pink. can anyone help shed some light on why this is?
Its only on the side though. like by the back where I have some buckle rash its just wood

my guess is that it used to be a pink guitar and it didn't sell, or the previous owner didn't like it, so it was repainted. Also, white primer and red primer will make a pink... perhaps the painter ran out of primer and had to touch it up with red. But, it's fortunate your guitar is black - the universal color. Just go and buy a paint pen and dab on the chipped spots... unless you want to refurbish it. It's not difficult - just time consuming.

Does sticking things on your guitar with PVA affect the acoustics?

Eww..i bought a pink guitar because there where no other colours left, i really needed one! So I decided to stick whatever I can find on it. I'm using PVA glue, and my mum says that (since she was an art teacher..yada, yada) it'll affect the tuning of the guitar.
And guess what? The guitar keeps coming out of tune. Although new guitars do have a reputation of falling out of the right sound, I've re-tuned it for what seems like 100 times!
I'm really worried, I hope it's not ruined.
Oh yeah, the guitar was pretty cheap, but it's proper wood and really sturdy and well made.

Merci :)

You didn't specify if it's acoustic or electric. Either way, your mother is incorrect; stickers have nothing at all to do with a guitar going out of tune. More likely it's a result of low quality tuning machines.

If it's an acoustic, then covering it up with stickers is a disastrous thing to do. An acoustic guitar makes sound when the top vibrates; if you cover the top with stickers then it cannot vibrate as freely and as a result it will lose tone and volume. Remove the stickers if possible.
