Part Truss Rod
What kind of guitar is this?
I have what I THINK is a silvertone from the late 60's or early 70's. It has 2 odd looking pickups that resemble harmonicas. It has 2 switches below the pickups, I think they may be "kill switches" for each pickup. It has an old school trem bar, a sunburst finish and the headstock heavily resembles a fender, except it's dark wood colored. There is an exposed part of the truss rod that seems like it might be for adjustments.
Sorry, I don't have any pics of it, but I tried to be as descriptive as possible. It's shaped similar to a strat, but the body is thinner.
I have one that is very similar to what you're describing, although mine has single coils. It's got a Gibson SG shape. Mine is an "Audition", according to the guy who sold it to me. He bought it at Woolworths in the 60s, apparently. I brought it in to a guitar lesson just the other week, and my teacher commented that he had one that looked similar, but it was a Silvertone. So yeah..... it could be an Audition or a Silvertone, as far as I know. But who cares anyway if it's got a nice sound and you're comfortable with it?
