What affordable acoustic guitar do you recommend for me?
I need an upgrade in acoustic guitar, I've had mine since I was 13. It's a Squier, but it's one of the mini guitars, like the ones meant for kids. I'm 16 now, so the tiny guitar is kinda hard to play. I want to get a affordable guitar, but one that's also nice. If you could send me links that would be great!
And is Guitar Center probably the best place to buy one? That's where I got my uke.
Without a price limit, it's hard to say. I would go to guitar center and look around at one's in your price range and compare. Going online is just too risky. What you want to look for is one with as much solid wood as possible for the price (solid back and sides). Next is to check all the frets for buzzes. Then compare playing the open strings (or 12th fret harmonic if you know how) to playing the 12th fret (double dot) pressed down. If they sound different at all, move to a different guitar, cause you don't want it. anything other than that is all gravy.

Online Acoustic Guitar Course for Beginners
