Help connecting Mixer - master output (RCA female sockets) to My speakers with 3.5 Jack male plug?
Hi
I need to connect my mixers master output to my speakers
But the mixers master output is two L and R RCA sockets. I need to connect them to a 3.5 Jack plug from my speakers.
How would i go about doing this, could I just find a cable somewhere that is just two male RCA plugs to a female 3.5 jack socket?
My friend mentioned to me I would need an amplifier to.... is this right?

Hi Yorkie, it sounds like your friend is right and you will need an amplifier unless your speakers are powered. The cables you seek are ready available in most electrical shops. Good luck!

where can i get a left and right audio cable with a head phone socket?
i know what i want. Its a left and right (white and red) male audio cable with an headphone socket female not male at the other end. my lcd portable screen does not have a head phone socket so the red and white audio is the next best thing to use. i have amp driven speakers with headphone connector i don't know what the cable is called and does it exist and where to go to buy it. please help thank you
Have you tried Radio Shack or Fry's?
Your looking for an adaptor to connect your headphones to an amp. I can understand that. You can find all sorts of connectors and adaptors at both places. I have found Radio Shack the most helpful. No clue where you live though, these are USA companies. Just find a place that sells electronics and you should have no trouble getting the part.
