Direct Drive Turntable
what is the difference between belt drive and direct drive digital turntables?
we are looking to buy a digital turntable and want to know what works best for our purposes.
They are both fine when they are new.
Over time the belt drive will need another belt, so if you buy used, you buy the direct drive.
I used to sell both, both are good units.

Hey DJ's, Do you guys know of any reliable inexpensive turntables? (direct drive for DJ-ing and scratching)?
I'm looking for an inexpensive and reliable direct drive DJ turntable good for scratching and mixing, I'm deciding on Numark TT-200 and I'd like to know if I should get them. Please do not tell me to get Technics 1200 its really annoying all you Technics dick riders! Technics are good but I can't afford it. Don't answer the question based on what you "think" I want answers from people with experience of the actual turntable!
P.S. I'm going to get 2 Shure M44-7 needles/cartridges, a Vestax PCM 05 mixer, and MixVibes! (an alternative to Serato, Traktor) it impressed me so I decided on getting it! Also is there something I should know tonearms? if I could get a heavier/stable one what should I get? I know you're thinking why the hell am I looking at Numark turntables but I truly believe that "Its not what you got its how you use it".
